Monday, 23rd February 2004 (7278 views) A new innovation from software developers in England could herald the development of a wider range of finely crafted gold jewellery that perfectly fits the features of individual buyers.<BR/><BR/>Delcam has developed ArtCAM JewelSmith, a dedicated jewellery CADCAM software, that boasts a 3D 'face wizard' programme.<BR/><BR/>The firm behind it says this enables even a novice user to generate 3D models of human face profiles and match the jewellery accordingly<BR/><BR/>Users are guided through every stage of the design process, using an imported photo to produce the digital sculpture.<BR/><BR/>The technology is being hailed as a unique bespoke design package that can deliver unique pieces of jewellery to fit the individual.
