The StrataGold Corporation has announced that it is actively pursuing the acquisition of three advanced gold projects and hopes to have more news of at least one of the potential acquisitions in the near future.<BR/><BR/>The US company is also planning continued exploration at its existing properties, including Hyland, Lynx and Aurex.<BR/><BR/>StrataGold recently announced that Northgate Exploration Ltd has approved a $700,000 drill programme for the Hyland Project in Yukon. Hyland will be focus of a large exploration programme in 2004, which will focus on extending the area of known gold mineralization defined in the 2003 drill program and testing additional targets that have been defined.<BR/> <BR/>A ground geophysical survey of the Lynx Project in Yukon, ten kilometres north of Aurex, was completed in autumn 2003 to provide additional data for drilling and StrataGold plans to commence its 2004 drill program early this spring, which will consist of approximately 2,500 metres of drilling.<BR/><BR/>The results of the fall 2003 Aurex drill programme were released in mid January 2004 and the initial wide spaced drilling on the large Aurex property in Yukon has confirmed the presence of two styles of gold mineralization over a 10km2 area. <BR/><BR/>StrataGold is very encouraged by the indications that the Aurex property has the potential to host a large bulk tonnage gold system with several intersections indicating high grade potential and plans to conduct follow up drilling of significant intersections and numerous untested targets during 2004.<BR/><BR/>The gold mining company has also announced the appointments of Robert McKnight as vice president, finance and corporate development and Brian Soregaroli as the new manager of investor relations.<BR/><BR/>StrataGold Corporation is a precious metal exploration company focused on gold exploration in the Americas.
