Gold eggs are to be displayed in the US this week as part of a promotional event for a Russian jewellery maker.<BR/><BR/>The collection of small gold eggs covered in enamel and lavishly decorated are said to be inspired by Faberge.<BR/><BR/>On show in Gold Casters Fine Jewelry, Ilya Abelsky will be showcasing his products as part of his latest promotion and aims his items at average households.<BR/><BR/>"It's not a big-ticket item, but it's a unique product, a unique object. I want to be for ordinary people. Faberge made for royalty, now I will make for queen of your household," Mr Abelsky told Indystar.<BR/><BR/>The eggs price at $59.95 and are available in both gold and silver. Approximately a million eggs are sold each year by the company and different events and holidays prompt new innovative designs.<BR/><BR/>Around 800 jewellery stores in the US stock the Abelsky eggs.
