A host of top exotic jewellery collections have been showcased this week in Calcutta.<BR/><BR/>Two key events for the area's gold industry were held, including a jewellery collection exhibition at The Taj Bengal and a range of new gold products from The Gold Factory.<BR/><BR/>Women in India's Jaipur region are keen wearers of saris and traditional jewellery according to members of the country's jewellery industry and the Jewels Emporium exhibition was set to be a popular event.<BR/><BR/>Timsy Anad who created the exhibition told The Telegraph India: "Women in this part of the country wear saris often and are built in such a way that they carry traditional jewellery very well."<BR/><BR/>Among the collections at the exhibition were those from Riwaz and Arzoo which offer boldly designed necklaces, chokers, pendants and bangles set in 22 carat gold and contemporary, lightweight and ornate enamelled items on 18 carat gold.<BR/><BR/>Meanwhile the new products from The Gold Factory, which will be available from April, focus on high quality jewellery at low prices.<BR/><BR/>During the promotion, the store is set to offer huge savings on items including gold earrings, necklaces, pendants and wristlets.
