Wednesday, 31st March 2004 (6328 views) Spring trends are being showcased by vendors at the OroArezzo International Gold, Silver and Jewellery Trade Exhibition, which ends today.

The collections include bold geometric pieces, lots of movement and bi- and tri-coloured gold, reported the National Jeweller website.

A large selection of rose gold is present in the show, another proof that multiple tones of the precious metal are a big hit.

Flowers and butterflies of the season and clever pendants in myriad geometric shapes are also found throughout the collections.

Large necklaces are a major presence in the event, whether long lengths of loosely looped chains in both white and yellow gold, clusters of linked metal circles, multiple strands or cleavage-plunging Y-shaped ones.

Web-like looks, achieved through crocheted gold wire, a flat-cast of web patterns or wire wrapped around the pieces, also appear in earrings, pendants and chains.

Leather and rubber bracelets and necklaces with interchangeable white and yellow gold ornaments continue to be big sellers.
