Tiffany & Co has announced an increase in quarterly profit, in latest figures revealed this week.<BR/><BR/>Sales at stores open at least a year had risen by 20 per cent in the US, although Japanese results were down.<BR/><BR/>Net sales at the luxury jewellery increased by 15 per cent to $456.96 million.<BR/><BR/>Optimistic after disappointing results, the group claimed it expects second quarter same store sales to increase in high single digits.<BR/><BR/>However earnings did match average predictions made by analysts, according to Reuters.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2624094"/>
