Nearly £10,000 will have to be a paid by a man from Chester who sold fake designer jewellery on auction website eBay.<BR/><BR/>Glen Miller had been advertising jewellery marked and packaged with the Tiffany & Co trademark, which was then noticed by members of the jewellery retailer.<BR/><BR/>After purchasing an item and conducting tests the item was proved as fake and trading standards then took action, according to the Daily Post.<BR/><BR/>On entering Mr Miller's home sacks full of jewellery and fake Louis Vuitton bags and wallets were found along with Tiffany boxes, bags and labels.<BR/><BR/>When charged for possessing 265 fake Tiffany jewellery items, it was claimed Mr Miller did not realise they were fake.<BR/><BR/>Reportedly the items were obtained from a Hong Kong site and when questioning the "best quality 99 per cent look-alikes" comment on the site, the alleged fraudster was told it was a translation mistake.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2656444"/>
