Monday, 24th May 2004 (5847 views) A new e-commerce site has been set up for Vermont fine jeweller Elliott Newman.<BR/><BR/>Under the new design created by Port City Web, the site allows real time or batch credit card processing, communication tools for users and store administrators and an easy-to-use shopping cart.<BR/><BR/>Among the items available from the jeweller are a 14 carat yellow gold necklace with 18 carat white gold barrel slide, an 18 carat yellow gold, ruby adorned ring and a platinum and 18 carat gold ring with diamonds, emeralds and citrine.<BR/><BR/>Port City Web President, Erik Crago said: "I'm excited about this project because it drives home that Port City Web is a leader in developing, launching, marketing and hosting e-commerce solutions for businesses of any size." <BR/><BR/>"I'm still in awe that they were able to put this together so quickly, when other companies said it was impossible," Fran Elliott from Elliott Newman added.<BR/><BR/>The site will help the jeweller benefit from a range of new potential customers after tourism numbers to the area have dropped recently.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2684353"/>
