A collection of Etruscan gold treasures is to go on show in June in the Vatican Museums.<BR/><BR/>In a tour held this week about the collection, visitors were informed of how the collection has grown and the difference in the way items have been displayed.<BR/><BR/>Reportedly Etruscan artefacts were first discovered back in 1493 in a tomb, and then whole collections were found in the 18th century, according to News Star.<BR/><BR/>Following this items were mostly donated in the 19th century and the 20th century was made of a number of big private collections.<BR/><BR/>Included in the collection are vases, statues and jewellery made from a host of materials including gold.<BR/><BR/>Now the displays begin in a re-created tomb introduction room and includes exhibits such as gold jewellery in a specially made glass case fitted with magnifying glass.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2704954"/>
