Fake gold gang arrestedTuesday, 8th June 2004 (4271 views) A gang making fake gold jewellery has been seized by the Arabic authorities this week.According to Arab News the gang was made up of three Pakistani nationals and a woman, who rented an apartment and converted it into a makeshift factory. When the gang were arrested they had 50 bangles in their possession. Items made also included necklaces and rings, which were plated with gold and then sold as gold jewellery by the female member to avoid suspicion. The gang was kept under surveillance by local police after a merchant informed them about suspicious behaviour.
