Gold continues to shine at JCK expoMonday, 14th June 2004 (4272 views) The JCK Show has proved that the jewellery industry is back and performing well in the US.Running from June 4-8, the expo saw swarms of crowds eager to buy jewellery and in the majority of cases exhibitors revealed strong to extremely strong sales. Attendance figures for this year's show were good and officials believe they will probably beat visits from 2003. This year's show was split into 13 main sections including Prestige Promenade, Antique & Estate, LUXURY Collection and World's Fair, to make purchases easier for attendees. Colour is the strongest trend in jewellery purchasing according to the show, but yellow gold continues to be the "hot" colour of choice for fashion designers and consumers. In addition gold watches were a popular choice in the Hall of Time watches section.
