The New York-based jewellery designer Udi Behr has created a special collection to help promote the need for peace and mark the forthcoming US elections, according to a company statement released to Market Wire.

The jewellery will feature the internationally recognised peace symbol and will be incorporated into a line of rings, pendants, bracelets and earrings.

The pieces will form part of his successful "Love, Peace and Hope" range and will be entitled "Unity".

The collection is available in 18 carat gold, priced at around $500 to $4,500, and in 14 carat gold, with prices starting at $175 to $700.

Mr Behr has over 20 years of experience in the jewellery industry and has worked with some of the largest manufacturers and designed collections for retailers such as Fortunoff and Macys.

In 1995, Mr Behr opened his own company called U-N-US which aims to produce young and modern gold jewellery.
