US jewellers and jewellery designers have been showering celebrities with gold gifts at recent TV events.<BR/><BR/>At the American Idol finals in LA, finalists and judges were seen wearing jewellery from XIV Karats Ltd in Beverley Hills, given as a gift.<BR/><BR/>Winner of the pop talent show, Fantasia Barrino was seen wearing chandelier earrings and an eight-carat ring.<BR/><BR/>In addition all 12 finalists received 'Great Expectations', a white gold diamond star with a 14 carat yellow gold cutout.<BR/><BR/>Guest speakers at the recent Promax Conference for the television industry also received jewellery, wearing designs from Magally Lopez in New York.<BR/><BR/>Stars were seen with handcrafted 18 carat gold jewellery adorned with various stones or pearls.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2918648"/>
