Bearne's reveals top jewellery auctionMonday, 28th June 2004 (4851 views) A collection of top jewellery is to go under auction as part of new jewellery selections from across the ages at a UK auctioneer.Bearne's Auctioneers and Valuers of Fine Art have revealed that it is to hold a special seasonal sale on July 6, where diamonds worth more than £100,000 will be sold, according to Western Morning News. The sale has attracted a considerable amount of interest and includes a number of rare jewellery pieces. Among the collection is a necklace dating from the 1890s and rings from between the early 20th century to the 1960s. Jethro Marles, a former director of Bearne's and a jeweller, said: "It is a good selection. The lots are a broad range of selected items from all categories, each with something special about them. They are all good examples of their type." In addition a gold ring set will also be auctioned, along with a romantic Regard ring set with a different stone for each letter.
