Zak Jewels 2004 is coming to an end in India but has offered visitors a host of gold items and new designs.<BR/><BR/>The four-day event taking place in the Taj Palace hotel was opened by leading model Indrani Dasgupta and included over 60 stores from all across India.<BR/><BR/>An extensive choice of jewellery was displayed including gold, diamond and platinum pieces.<BR/><BR/>One designer present at the event was Anuradha Chhabra, showcasing the 'Starz' collection of intricately designed pieces.<BR/><BR/>In addition the Indian designer displayed an ethnic 'Zubeida' range of chokers and necklaces in 24 carat gold.<BR/><BR/>A number of Indians are now choosing to enter the jewellery market and many designers at the event agreed that jewellery is slowly becoming a fashion statement in the country.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3233658"/>
