A Danish museum is to showcase jewellery made from gold that was stolen over 200 years ago.<BR/><BR/>Goldsmith Niels Heidenreich originally stole golden drinking horns in May 1802 and then melted them down into fake gold coins and jewellery.<BR/><BR/>The National Museum is to show the jewellery items, which were made by Mr Heidenreich using a simple furnace in his home.<BR/><BR/>A Danish woman donated the earrings to the museum, which she claims were bought by her ancestors from the goldsmith.<BR/><BR/>At the time of the theft, investigators found 2.5 kilograms of gold in his home.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3277666"/>
