Thursday, 16th September 2004 (4131 views) NovaGold has announced that its gold-silver-copper project at Galore Creek in North America is progressing well.<BR/><BR/>According to the mining firm, drilling at the creek has led to significant expansion and could mean the southwest deposit could connect with the main central deposit.<BR/><BR/>A key aim of the 2004 drill program is to establish areas where there are high levels of precious metal mineralisation.<BR/><BR/>One of the drill holes has discovered considerably higher-grade gold and silver, which also starts close to the surface.<BR/><BR/>These initial drill results have been welcomed by the company and show a strong potential for expansion.<BR/><BR/>NovaGold is focused on creating value through development and exploration of high quality mineral properties in North America.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3436432"/>
