Centurion work on Omaruru gold mine approved

South Africa's Centurion Gold has revealed today that it has gained approval to restore work at the Omaruru Gold Mine in South Africa.<BR/><BR/>Since all preparations have been completed the rehabilitation will begin immediately.<BR/><BR/>It is hoped the mine will produce 10kg of gold in the next month and 20kgs by the end of October.<BR/><BR/>CEO Arthur Johnson of Centurion Gold Holdings said, "The rehabilitation of the Omaruru Gold Mine will start adding revenue to Centurion without increasing our costs. <BR/><BR/>"We expect government approval of new mining operations at Omaruru to arrive shortly."<BR/><BR/>Gold produced will come from the processing of by-products from past mining operations for gold concentrate.<BR/><BR/>Centurion will get 30 per cent of production since it has selected Monrita Mining to run the operation.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3447595"/>
