Thursday, 23rd September 2004 (6353 views) Latest plans by Disney have revealed that it wont just be Mickey and Minnie impressing guests when it opens its first theme park in China in about a year's time.<BR/><BR/>According to The Standard, Disney is to introduce Chinese jeweller Chow Sang Sang to the park to help meet the growing demand and love for gold jewellery in China.<BR/><BR/>In addition, with the park attracting additional visitors, general gold sales could go up further as mainland visitors continue to boost demand for gold jewellery in China.<BR/><BR/>Executives at Disney are planning to use its two other overseas resorts in Tokyo and Paris to ensure they create the right kind of park and are well aware that if the attraction is too 'Americanised' people get put off.<BR/><BR/>The gold jewellery store is just one example of ensuring the park reflects its visitor's needs and interests.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3461313"/>
