This year's Bijorcha show in Paris has proved even more popular with over 18,000 jewellery industry professionals attending.<BR/><BR/>Held in Paris, the trade fair took place on September 3-6 and experienced an attendance rise of 8.3 per cent.<BR/><BR/>The show represented a combination of two trade fairs - Eclat de Mode and Montres et Bijoux featuring a host of gold jewellery, watches and a mix of costume and designer pieces.<BR/><BR/>Figures from the show indicate that around 16 per cent of retailers attended to purchase gold jewellery, out of a total of 5,080 buyers.<BR/><BR/>According to National Jeweler, the show also looked at upcoming jewellery trends such as men's jewellery and round shaped and curved pieces.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3470147"/>
