Tuesday, 28th September 2004 (6355 views) Jewellery designer Eddie LeVian has reportedly presented a range of red, white and blue gold jewellery to former POW Jessica Lynch.<BR/> <BR/>The presentation at the 28th Annual Mrs America pageant took place on September 14th in Palm Springs, California, according to National Jeweler.<BR/> <BR/>Mr LeVian, CEO of Le Vian Corp, designed a necklace with the initials USA, an art deco-style American flag pin, hoop earrings, necklace and a ring, all in white gold, with rubies, sapphires and diamonds. <BR/> <BR/>The designer said he had been inspired to create the jewellery ensemble following the 09/11 attacks on the United States and news reports of Private Lynch's bravery.<BR/> <BR/>The set, created by the official jewellery designer for the Mrs America and Mrs World pageants, is worth an estimated $15,000.<BR/> <BR/>Ms Lynch, 21, appeared on stage at the poolside of the Riviera Hotel and Resort in Palm Springs with the aid of a cane and a brace to accept the gifts and also received a quilt woven by the 50 pageant contestants<BR/> <BR/>The former US Army private, from Palestine, Western Virginia, was captured by Iraqi soldiers and later rescued by American troops in March 2003.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3486183"/>
