Indian consumers are wanting to try different styles of gold jewellery in the run up to the four day Puja festival.<BR/><BR/>According to The Telegraph India, people are moving away from chunky neckpieces and dangly items and are opting for lightweight jewellery.<BR/><BR/>It is thought the main reason for a lightweight look is the expected heavy rain, busy crowds and humidity predicted for the period.<BR/><BR/>One company which is responding to this change in trend is PC Chandra, which has launched the Goldlites range, made up of lightweight gold jewellery.<BR/><BR/>The collection is popular amongst younger members of India too, with prices suited to everyone including college students and young professionals.<BR/><BR/>Pieces are made from 22 carat gold and prices begin at Rs 20,000, with items including lockets, necklaces, pendant sets, earrings and chains.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3621601"/>
