Monday, 18th October 2004 (5737 views) A new type of wedding ceremony is taking place in India, where the bride and groom are blessed by gods.<BR/><BR/>Held by the Azad Dramatic club, the couple also get given gifts such as gold jewellery to commemorate the ceremony.<BR/><BR/>The gods of course are not real but are played by actors who offer something a little bit different and special to the traditional ceremony.<BR/><BR/>Two weddings that were held this weekend were attended by hundreds as they all wanted to witness the special event.<BR/><BR/>The club claims it plans similar weddings for next year.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3644529"/>
