Luxury jeweller announces revamp

Friday, 10th December 2004 (4337 views)

A luxury UK jeweller has been celebrating this week, after reaching the end of ten years of rebranding.

Boodles in Liverpool has recently changed its name from Boodle and Dunthorne and has been running since 1798.

To help revamp the company, the jeweller is launching a number of collections targeting younger consumers.

In addition, sparkling champagne bars are being installed in all the company's stores as a mark of its success and change.

James Amos joined the company less than three months ago and is leading the change, told Manchester Evening News: "The shop is not intimidating or exclusive, but has an open and welcoming atmosphere with a crisp, fresh feel.

"The jewellery is forward-thinking, contemporary and design led."

The company has stores in Liverpool, Chester, Manchester and four London stores, including one in Harrods.

Items are soon to be available online and a host of celebrities frequent the jeweller, such as David Beckham and Michael Owen, with the company mainly focusing on hand made one off pieces.
