Thursday, 16th December 2004 (4522 views) The National Bank of Azerbaijan has issued a series of gold tokens and various coins as it marks the passing of the country's former leader Heydar Aliyev.<br/><br/>Coins will show his image and an inscription of his name, according to Azer News.<br/><br/>On the other side of the coin is a map of Azerbaijan, and is designed as a symbol of "Azerbaijan's independence". <br/><br/>Other precious metals coins will also be issued, including 1,000 gold tokens and 2,000 silver items.<br/><br/>The sale price of a gold coin is 527, while the platinum coin is 1,467.<br/><br/>Investors and collectors can snap up the coins from the National Bank and its regional outlets.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7334227"/>
