Wednesday, 19th January 2005 (4761 views) A gold ring specially designed for the Pomona High School class of 1978 in Denver, US has made a miraculous reappearance 27 years after its owner lost it down the toilet.<br/><br/>The ring, whose symbolism was extremely special for its owner Jerry Duran, was fished out of a sewer by the Arvada Wastewater Division shortly before Christmas, reports the Denver Post.<br/><br/>The gold ring with aquamarine stone was then returned to its happy but surprised owner this week following rigorous cleaning.<br/><br/>Mr Duran said the return came "much to my surprise" 27 years after the unhappy event when he dropped it into the toilet bowl.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7600991"/>
