Monday, 24th January 2005 (4639 views) Vancouver-based Full Metal has announced that it has entered into an agreement with the Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) to explore 565,000 acres of the southwest Alaska peninsula for gold and porphyry copper-gold deposits.<br/><br/>Full Metal now has the exclusive rights to explore one million acres of the Aleutian Islands and Alaska Peninsula.<br/><br/>Multiple copper-gold and epithermal gold systems have been identified in the 700km belt, and the region has received only minor exploration. <br/><br/>Full Metal will have the option of earning 100 per cent interest in subsurface mineral rights. <br/><br/>Full Metal is planning a huge exploration program in the Southwest Alaska Porphyry during 2005, including mapping, prospecting and diamond drilling.<br/><br/>Full Metal currently has an interest in the Ganes Creek Gold Project.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7636253"/>
