Wednesday, 26th January 2005 (7485 views) Indian jeweller Tanishq has taken to the catwalk this week, producing a special jewellery collection for top fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.<br/><br/>Items created included necklaces such as coloured gems strung in gold wire across necklines and hanging from fingers, according to India News.<br/><br/>The fashion show was a total replica of a show held in Milan, which was praised for its originality.<br/><br/>The jewellery, used with distressed clothing, helped to highlight special stitching, quilting and prints.<br/><br/>Limited edition pieces from the ethnic trinket collection included anklets, bangles, finger filling rings and necklaces.<br/><br/>The association of a fashion designer with jewellery firms is becoming more common in India, with watch company Titan teaming up with designer Rohit Bal for a series of watches.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7650516"/>
