Friday, 25th February 2005 (6899 views) A white gold "Color of Hope Bracelet" will be presented to actresses nominated for an Academy Award in the hope that they will don the bracelets as a show of support for ovarian cancer research.<br/><br/>The bracelet, introduced by L'Oreal Paris in partnership with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) is a pave diamond and white gold circle on a mauve silk cord. The circle is mean to represent life, endurance or love.<br/><br/>The cosmetics giant says the bracelet will be a simple way for women everywhere to visibly help in the fight against the deadly cancer.<br/><br/>Along with female Academy Award nominees, the bracelet will also be presented to other notable women who have championed the fight against ovarian cancer such as Trudie Styler, Rita Wilson, Donna Karan, Milla Jovovich and Andie McDowell.<br/><br/>A sterling silver version of the Color of Hope Bracelet is also available through the L'Oreal Paris web site and at L'Oreal Paris stores for $12.95 with proceeds going to the OCRF. The bracelet will be available throughout 2005, with a variation on the bracelet available yearly.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7885897"/>
