Thursday, 31st March 2005 (4452 views) Significant gold mineralisation has been discovered at the Mwamazengo prospect within the Mabale Hills project in Tanzania.<br/><br/>According to Mining Weekly, drilling was conducted by Australian miner Sub Sahara Resources for joint venture partner Currie Rose Resources.<br/><br/>Drilling was made up of four reverse circulation drill holes and 19 rotary air blast drill holes.<br/><br/>The company said: "RAB drilling failed to close off mineralisation to the south and very weak mineralisation was encountered approximately 150 m north of the most northern RC drill hole. As a result, mineralisation is open in both directions and at depth."<br/><br/>It is hoped further drilling will take place later in the year.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8161309"/>
