Thursday, 31st March 2005 (4365 views) Australian mining firm Zambezi Resources has announced that sampling at the Mwomboshi project in Zambia has revealed gold.<br/><br/>According to results from the sampling the potential for shear hosted gold mineralisation is evident.<br/><br/>To help obtain the results a 600-metre strike length of the shear was sampled and gold mineralisation was suggested along the entire length.<br/><br/>Results showed assays of up to 124.16 grams a tonne of gold.<br/><br/>In addition, stream sediment sampling indicated the presence of additional quartz veins, which will need follow up sampling the upcoming season.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8162429"/>
