Friday, 17th June 2005 (5685 views) A gold Patek Phillipe wristwatch helped to raise over $400,000 at a special auction for watch enthusiasts.<br/><br/>Antiquorum raised $4,274,449 from the Important Collector's Wristwatches, Pocket Watches and Clocks auction, with $417,500 raised by the 18-carat pink gold, tonneau-shaped gentleman's watch.<br/><br/>Bidders came from North America, Norway, China, Israel and other countries.<br/><br/>Participants bid over the phone, in the auction room and online.<br/><br/>The auction took place at the Essex House Hotel in New York on June 15th.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8769250"/>
