Linear reports result in MexicoMonday, 18th July 2005 (2779 views) Linear Gold Corp has announced additional drill results from the Ixhuatan Project, located in Chiapas, Mexico.The company has extended mineralisation to the northeast, southwest and to depth and along strike at the Campamento Deposit at the Ixhuatan Project. The Western Anomaly and Cerro La Mina Anomaly on the Ixhuatan Project have also recorded good results. Drilling on the Campamento Deposit found high-grade mineralisation with reports of 6.8 grammes per tonne of gold and 64.0 grammes per tonne of silver during the first 194 meters. Two additional drill holes have been completed at the Cerro La Mina Anomaly. This Anomaly is approximately 1.5 kilometres east-northeast of the Campamento Deposit. Several intervals of mineralisation were also encountered with an upper interval of 12 meters, starting at four metres reporting 1.2 grammes per tonne of gold and 2.0 grammes per tonne of silver. Further diamond drilling on the Western Anomaly, located approximately one kilometer to the northwest of the Campamento Deposit, has identified additional auriferous mineralisation. Linear Gold Corp says it is "very encouraged" with the results of its most recent drill programme. Drilling is set to continue on the Cerro La Mina Anomaly where several IP targets with coincident conventional and MMI soil anomalies will be tested.
