Monday, 25th July 2005 (8548 views) Forever Precious Jewellery & Diamonds has announced that it is establishing a new gold jewellery manufacturing plant at Ahmedabad, India.<br/><br/>The company, an associate of Su-Raj Diamonds & Jewellery, offers a range of precious jewellery and the maximum capacity of the new plant will initially be nearly 8,000 pieces per month.<br/><br/>The plant has been designed on a modular basis to facilitate future expansion and is scheduled to commence operation in May 2006, Sify reports.<br/><br/>"The diamond market has been growing at the rate of 30 per cent annum and our targeted growth rate is around 70 per cent annually," managing director of Forever Precious Jewellery & Diamonds Jai Begani told Business Line.<br/><br/>"In recent years, the gemstone-studded jewellery market has witnessed an exponential growth due to the design permutations possible, mass appeal and lower price points. To achieve greater market penetration, we have planned to appoint 12 new dealers in various States by the month-end," he added.<br/><br/>The company has a strong client base in India and plans to expand its existing sales network of gold and diamond jewellery divisions from 110 to more than 230 stores over the next two years.<img alt="track" src="http://feeds.directnews.org.uk/feedtrack/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=14013689"/>
