Monday, 25th July 2005 (9186 views) The Popley Group has declared that it is planning to strengthen its presence in the United Arab Emirates with the launch of its largest Popley 22 outlet at Bur Dubai.<br/><br/>The company, a leading player in gold, diamond jewellery and high-end watches, will unveil the new store at Meena Bazar in Bur Dubai in the next few days.<br/><br/>The new outlet is due to open with almost 400 kgs of gold, making it one of the largest in Meena Bazar. Spanning 5,000 square feet it is part of Popley Group's Dh70 million (£11 milllion) expansion plan to create up to ten new outlets by the end of 2006.<br/><br/>The two-level showroom will showcase Popley 22's designs, including its popular ethnic and traditional jewellery lines, and will launch the latest in 21 and 22 carat gold jewellery.<br/><br/>Commenting on expansion plans, Popley Group managing director Dilip Popley, said: "We have been present in UAE for over 12 years enjoying high levels of customer loyalty. We are currently at an inflexion point in the region and thus felt it was time to further strengthen our position by expanding our presence in terms of outlets and product offerings."<br/><br/>"The new Popley 22 outlet at Bur Dubai will be strategically located in the midst of Dubai's flourishing jewellery market," he added. "It will blend the best in innovative design and the finest workmanship to create rich and stunning collections.
