Tuesday, 23rd August 2005 (6919 views) AfriOre continues its drive for gold and platinum within Africa and aims to plough the capital raised from a business deal into its Akanani and other projects.<br/><br/>The Akanini property is a platinum project in the Limpopo area of South Africa although it also encompasses the mineralized Platreef where gold has been found. <br/><br/>AfriOre's principle properties are gold related such as the South African FSC and Dwaalboom and Kenyan Ndori and Siaya properties.<br/><br/>Recently its Banankoro gold project in Mali has undergone drilling and surveys that discovered 7.36 g/t to 27.37 g/t of gold over a width of between 0.8 and 9.25 metres.<br/><br/>The expected success of the company's private placement, which has an estimated high of C$4.5 million, should provide enough capital to further develop its gold interests.<br/><br/><img alt="logo" src='http://feeds.directnews.org.uk/feedtrack/logo.gif?feedid=196&itemid=15028436'/><br/>© Adfero Ltd
