Thursday, 25th August 2005 (6445 views) The latest word in cocktails is 'gold' after a South African bar has announced its intention to offer a glitzy drink.<br/><br/>Named 'Bling', this cocktail will leave you incredulous as it includes a 0.26-carat diamond set in 18-carat white gold and hanging on a white gold chain, reports Cape Argus.<br/><br/>The white gold chain will lead the drinker's eyes down to the diamond that will rest in the triple sec, lychee and vodka cocktail.<br/><br/>Cape Town's M-Bar in the Metropole Hotel will be offering the drink that comes with a certificate of authentication.<br/><br/>The hotel owners apparently got the idea after a London hotel did the same thing with a diamond ring. <br/><br/>Pearl in London, for example, which on Valentine's Day 2005 offered one lucky guest an 18-carat white or yellow gold diamond ring if they found a black pearl that was hidden on one of the restaurant's tables.<br/><br/>At R3,500 the 'Bling' cocktail does not come cheap, but that's the cost of luxury.<br/>
