Friday, 26th August 2005 (4172 views) Japan Tobacco, the country's only tobacco supplier is launching a new campaign intended to promote its reduced-odour cigarettes.<br/><br/>The undisputed highlight of the promotion is the chance for one smoker to win five kilograms of gold bars worth an estimated eight million yen.<br/><br/>By answering an easy question about the new product, smokers also stand to win one of 100 26-inch liquid crystal display television screens.<br/><br/>Smokers will have to own up to their habit by ticking a box proclaiming themselves smokers on a company postcard or by writing "I am a smoker" on a postcard.<br/><br/>Japan Tobacco's spokesman Kei Koro declared that the 'smart smoke' campaign will alert smokers to the benefits of the company's new reduced-odour products.<br/><br/>"We want more people to know about our reduced-odour products," he said.<br/><br/>A smoker-friendly viewing for 75 couples of the US film 'Sin City' will also be arranged as part of the proceedings.<br/>
