Monday, 26th September 2005 (9123 views) A 14-carat gold-filled Hope necklace will be raising funds for breast cancer charity, The Ellie Fund, to promote October as Breast Cancer Awareness month.The Hope necklace, designed by Sterling Jones' owner Adriana Jenkins, has added resonance for the designer as she herself was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001. Measuring 36 inches, the Hope necklace consists of a 14-carat gold-filled chain with faceted rose quartz gemstones It costs $140 and 15 per cent of all necklace proceeds will go to The Ellie Fund, which supports breast cancer research and works towards community awareness. The launch will be taking place on September 27th in Massachusetts and the necklaces will be sold throughout October only. Every piece of Sterling Jones jewellery is handcrafted, and the autumn and winter collection includes several pieces made from gold and pearls, one of this season's hottest looks.
