The 14th annual Vietnam Jewellery Exhibition kicks off today.

Taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, the World Gold Council sponsored exhibition will encompass all aspects of jewellery design.

In addition to the latest jewellery designs, technology used in production will also be on display, reports fibre2fashion.

There will be presentations on creating and maintaining jewellery. A workshop will also be held on Friday to discuss importing gems to the US.

Local jewelers will be participating in the exposition, as well as companies from Germany, Italy, Austria, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US.

The event, organised by the Saigon Jewellery Holding Company, runs from November 15th until 20th.
