Dolce & Gabbana has given a golden twist to Motorola's RAZR V3i.

The limited edition RAZR V3i comes with a distinctive and genuine liquid gold finish to create the ultimate luxury look.

Only 1,000 of the mobiles have been produced, so competition for one of these precious models is predicted to be high.

Dolce & Gabbana has also customised the phone with a personalised background, a specially designed sound for power up and down, an exclusive polyphonic ring tone and a video clip detailing the designers' brand history.

It is fully functional; containing a 1.23 mega pixel camera with an 8 x digital zoom, video capture iTunes, a TransFlash memory card and bluetooth.

The metallic gold phone will only be available from Dolce & Gabbana boutiques. It follows Motorola's pink RAZR, which is now on general release.
