A bra with a diamond set in 18-carat white gold is selling for a cool $12.5 million this Christmas.

Canada's Ottawa Sun reports that the "Sexy Splendor Fantasy Bra" from Victoria's Secret could be just the answer if struggling to find that perfect present for a loved one in the final week before the big day.

If the price is right, lucky ladies with a taste for luxury will be treated to a 101-carat, 110-sided pear shaped diamond right at the centre of the lingerie, surrounded by a staggering 2,900 pave-set diamonds and 22 rubies.

Made by jewellery specialist Mouawad, the bra took over 300 hours to construct, and is not the first time Victoria's Secret has turned to Mouawad to create its special holiday fantasy bra.

Last year, the "Heavenly '70' Fantasy Bra" involved an angel wing design made up of 2,900 pave-set diamonds weighing in at 112 carats.

This was similarly set in 18-carat gold, priced at $10 million.

The Sexy Splendor Fantasy Bra can be seen modelled by the supermodel Gisele Bundchen, and is featured in the pages of this year's Christmas Dreams and Fantasies Catalogue.
