Luxury Swiss jewellery retailer, Comptoir Suisse, has opened a new outlet in Wafi City, Dubai, exclusively selling the Mouawad range of designer diamond jewellery and watches.

Mouawad's main collection includes ready-to-wear jewellery for women, and for men there is a ring in either platinum or 18-carat white gold, containing brilliant or rose-cut diamonds.

The new boutique in Dubai will be selling these items and many more, all designed at one of Mouawad's art and design centres in either Paris or New York, both capitals of the fashion world.

Models were on hand at the opening to display the dazzling products for all those assembled to see.

Comptoir Suisse manager, Joseph Abouchakra, told AME Info: "Our research shows there is a sizable demand for luxury and designer jewellery in Dubai.

"Shoppers are more aware of quality and are very fashion conscious. They have access to high disposable income which they enjoy spending on only the best, especially when it comes to diamond jewellery."
