Goldcliff posts shining resultsThe news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited © and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council. Friday, 24th March 2006 (3965 views) Goldcliff Resource Corporation has reported significant assay results from drilling at the Panorama Ridge property in Canada. The results from the resource company chart the expansion of the British Columbia property's mineralised zone and confirm that both gold and silver mineralisation occur throughout its York-Viking gold zone (YVZ). High-grade values of 5.84 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 3.0 g/t silver are intersected in the drilling, with results also highlighting 0.7 g/t gold and 0.3 g/t silver over a drill intercept of 68.49 metres. The results are seen as being significant, establishing that gold and silver at the YVZ occurs concurrently both on the surface and at depth. Goldcliff concludes that the results show "a world-class, sedimentary, strata-bound gold skarn deposit with an important silver grade component". Goldcliff is based in Vancouver and its main objective is the exploration and development of mineral properties in Canada and abroad, with a focus on developing gold and other metals properties.
