Wednesday, 24th May 2006 (2174 views) Best practice and the future of the mining industry will be discussed at the 6th Annual Metals & Mining Conference in New York on June 7th.The conference is being presented by the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), a not-for-profit organisation committed to promoting the highest professional and ethical standards in the investment industry. The conference will discuss the future of the mining and metals industry at a time when precious metal prices are near 25-year highs. Industry experts and executives from a variety of companies will be present. Carrick Gold, Great Basin Gold, Ivanhoe Mines, Minera Andes and Seabridge Gold are among the firms that will be represented in New York. The conference, to be held at the NYSSA premises on the Avenue of the Americas, is free of charge to members of the press, $265 for NYSSA members and $365 for non-members.
