Thursday, 29th June 2006 (6083 views) Precious metals exploration and development company Paramount Gold has announced the addition of four key geologists to its Andean Gold Alliance exploration team.The company is currently undertaking gold discovery projects across South America under its subsidiary banner of Cia Minera Paramount, in association with Teck Cominco. The projects are focused on five key sites in Chile and Argentina and the four new team members Roly Alva, Hector Cannalez, Guillermo Placensia and Victor Leon will assist in this process. "I am very excited to count on an experienced team of geologists and support staff as the one we have built during the last two months," said Alain Vachon, general manager for South America, on behalf of Paramount Gold. "Most of our personnel have acquired experience with major companies, the majority from Barrick Gold, the largest gold company in the world, where education and constant actualization to modern exploration techniques is a must." I am very enthusiastic as the whole team has agreed to work together for the success of Paramount," Mr Vachon concluded.
