Tuesday, 22nd August 2006 (5355 views) Exeter Resources has uncovered significant gold and silver mineralisation at its site in Argentina.The Cerro Puntudo project in the southern part of the country has seen exploratory work which has extended the area of two known zones. Hole CPRC-61 returned assays of 4.4 grams per tonne of gold (g/t Au) over 12 metres, including 34.1 g/t over one metre. CPRC-62, situated 40 miles to the north-east, gave 3.2 g/t Au over 15 metres. Significant findings were also made at the Quebrada north zone. Assays here included 3.9 g/t over nine metres and 10.3 g/t at nine metres in two different drill holes. A total of 13 holes were constructed representing 1,699 metres of work. Spacings were approximately 50 metres apart along the horizontal axis and 30 metres above each previous intersection
