Buffalo Gold has announced the latest set of results from diamond drilling at its site in Asia.

The Mount Kare project is situated in Papua New Guinea. Two holes, MK06-58 and MK06-63, were drilled approximately 125 km and 100 km into the north-western Roscoelite zone.

They both demonstrate that the mineralisation in the north-western extension of the zone continues onwards.

Results from the hole MK06-58 returned assays of 19.2 grams per tonne of gold over 30 metres, including 41.8 grams per tonne of gold over 6.5 metres.

From hole MK06-63, assays returned 22.6 grams per tonne of gold over 25 metres.

Holes MK06-39 and MK06-68, from the south-western portion of the Roscoelite zone, intersected mineralisation consistent with the known resource.

Buffalo's chairman Damien Reynolds commented: "We are excited to see that as we move to the north we not only continue to see significant intersections of mineralisation, but also see higher gold grades."
