Thursday, 23rd November 2006 (3151 views) Following surface channel sampling at the Pardo property near Sudbury, Ontario, Endurance Gold has declared that "significant" mineralisation has been discovered. The sampling results showed 18.35 grams per tonne over one metre present at the site as well as 3.05 grams per tonne over a length of 13 metres. These latest results follow the company's previous sampling work that culminated in September with a set of results that discovered the presence of significant gold mineralisation, including 3.52 grams per tonne found over a continuous channel of 13 metres. During October, Endurance Gold made 66 channel samples of one metre at an area measuring 55 metres by 15 metres and the 18.35 grams of gold per tonne discovery represents the best gold grade to date at the Pardo property. An option for a 100 per cent interest in the Pardo property was acquired by Endurance Gold in 2005 which requires the mining company to make various payments of $100,000 (£52,000) and issue 200,000 shares in a period of four years.
