Friday, 24th November 2006 (5438 views) British jewellery designer to the stars Stephen Webster had some of his most flamboyant designs put on display at a Belfast city centre jewellers yesterday.Lunn's Jewellers in Queen's Arcade, Belfast, saw a range of gold collections displayed as well as limited edition pieces in order to mark Mr Webster's 30th anniversary in the jewellery business. For collections such as Borneo, Thorn and Crystal Haze, Mr Webster incorporates diamonds and gem stones on white and yellow gold. The designer has previously created a unique tiara for Christina Aguilera - which has gone on sale at Lunn's - as well as other pieces for Madonna and Ozzy Osbourne. Mr Webster said: "This bold, finely-detailed jewellery now has a real following and we have been working with Lunn's for a number of years now. "We do have a number of Northern Ireland clients and, in fact, one of our beautiful Rocks Off pendants was snapped up by a local customer." Jewellery from the Crystal Haze collection has been purchased by a range of celebrities including Elizabeth Taylor, Kate Moss and Pink. The 18-carat white and yellow gold designs are described on Mr Webster's website as a "magical collection" that "combines the laser-cutting techniques and technology of the future with materials as old as time".
